Qualifications
- Advanced degree in oceanography or coastal engineering.
- Experience with numerical modeling tools.
- Strong data analysis and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Support development and application of coastal/hydrodynamic models.
- Assist with setup, calibration, and validation of models.
- Analyze waves, water levels, currents, shoreline change, sediment transport.
- Process and visualize model inputs/outputs (Python, MATLAB, GIS).
- Contribute to technical memoranda, reports, and presentations.
- Perform data analysis and QA/QC for modeling workflows.
- Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and planners on projects.
