• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or related degree.
• 0 to 1 years of relevant post education experience.
• Familiarity with smart building design and technology concepts.
• Familiarity with installation and/or construction laws, codes and compliance practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Attention to detail, multi-tasking and prioritization in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from site surveys, plans and reports.
• Support basic professional building technology work related to research and inspections.
• Provide entry-level technical assistance on design requirements, load calculations, and operating strategies.
• Help verify site characteristics and assist with design, installation, and integration issues for smart buildings.
• Prepare documentation and specifications using electronic systems and drawings.
