Job summary

Technica Engineering Inc. in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Test Engineer focused on Digital Key technologies. This early-career role offers hands-on exposure to automotive hardware, software, and security-relevant systems on real customer projects.

You will work with modern test environments such as HIL setups, bench tests, and trace analysis, collaborating with customers and internal teams to validate and improve test systems.

Qualifications

• Experience or coursework in automotive hardware/software testing.
• Interest in digital key, connectivity, or security-relevant features.
• Willingness to work on-site in Mountain View, CA with 20–40% travel.

Responsibilities

• Support customer projects in Digital Key and connected vehicle domains.
• Build, configure and maintain HIL and test bench setups.
• Execute manual and automated tests for automotive electronic systems.
• Perform trace analysis, debugging, and issue reproduction.
• Work with customers to set up, troubleshoot and validate test systems.
• Support commissioning of new test racks and ongoing bench maintenance.
• Collaborate with internal development, test and project teams for smooth execution.
• Document test results, issues, and system behavior clearly.
