Job summary

PCF is seeking delivery service providers to support its newspaper distribution network in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Providers operate as independent contractors, managing designated early-morning routes under contractual terms.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, with access to their own delivery means. Pay is weekly with tips; a $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered. PCF does not supply vehicles or backups, and drivers may engage others to assist in deliveries.

Qualifications

• Are independently contracted, meaning they are self-employed (1099)
• 7 days delivery- 7 Days commitment required
• Typically provide early morning delivery of newspapers and related printed materials on a designated route, according to a specific contractual agreement
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Weekly pay- plus tips
• Have a reliable means of delivery to fulfill contractual obligations. PCF does not provide vehicles or back-up vehicles
• Have the right to engage the services of others to provide for or assist in the deliver

Responsibilities

• Deliver newspapers and related printed materials on a designated route, according to a contractual agreement
• Work on early morning routes to meet delivery commitments
• Operate as an independent contractor and manage delivery responsibilities
• Coordinate with PCF for route specifics and performance expectations
