Job summary

Teledyne Brown Engineering is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to contribute to the design and development of Extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM). The internship lasts about 3 months in summer 2027, with start and end dates negotiable around school schedules.

It requires on-site work in Huntsville, AL and the candidate will arrange their own housing. You will debug, implement features, and participate in the full software lifecycle under the guidance of mentors.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university with at least two years toward a degree in software engineering or computer science.
• Strong foundation in C/C++, Python, and OO design.
• Familiarity with XML/JSON and software design principles.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Debug and analyze issues identified by the team and offer code solutions.
• Implement simple front-end or back-end features.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design to verification.
