Job summary

Novartis in Morris Plains, New Jersey, seeks an E2E Value Stream Planning Supervisor to lead a growing planning team and drive scheduling excellence across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and logistics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of production planning, supply chain planning, or scheduling in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice requirements and pharmaceutical/biologics operations.
  • Experience analyzing operational data and using reporting tools to drive planning decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions and manage stakeholders in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of planners to drive performance, engagement, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of production planning, supply chain planning, or scheduling experience within a regulated manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice requirements and pharmaceutical or biologics manufacturing operations.

  • Experience analyzing operational data and using reporting tools to drive planning decisions and continuous improvement.

  • Proven ability to collaborate across multiple functions and effectively manage stakeholders in a matrix environment.


Desirable Requirements


  • APICS CPIM/CSCP and/or Lean Certification.

  • Experience implementing or enhancing planning systems, reporting tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Salary

The salary for this position is expected to range between $85,400 and $158,600 per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.


Compensation and Benefits


  • Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.

  • US-based eligible employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, life and disability benefits, a 401(k) with company contribution and match, and a variety of other benefits.

  • In addition, employees are eligible for a generous time off package including vacation, personal days, holidays and other leaves.
