Job summary

Veo seeks an E-Scooter Delivery Driver in Lafayette, IN to support our growing micromobility network. As a 1099 independent contractor, you will work overnight shifts driving a company van to locate scooters, swap batteries, rebalance fleets, and perform basic repairs. A reliable vehicle is required for commuting to the warehouse.

The role emphasizes hands-on tasks, problem solving, and staying active during shifts, with a flexible night schedule and minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile applications.
• Ability to lift and move scooters weighing up to 60 lbs without assistance.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Follow mobile app instructions to complete shift tasks.
• Drive a company van to locate scooters and swap batteries.
• Rebalance scooters from low-demand to high-demand areas.
• Perform basic repairs and quality checks.
• Respond to on-demand requests to locate and retrieve scooters.
• Maintain accurate task completion through the mobile app.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM: Wednesday-Sunday

Please Note: Candidates must have reliable transportation to commute to and from the warehouse. A company van is provided during shifts to perform job duties.

Job Summary

Veo seeks operations professionals who are passionate about providing riders with an excellent experience by maintaining our vehicles and continually improving the efficiency of our fleet operations. E-Scooter Delivery Drivers locate, swap batteries, and rebalance vehicles throughout the city while performing quality checks and minor repairs.

The ideal candidate for this role is a team player who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and staying active throughout an entire shift.

Below is the expected salary range for this position. The listed range is a good faith estimate, and exact compensation and total package may vary depending on market conditions and candidate qualifications.
