Job summary

Smith & Wilkinson is seeking a strong production E&S Property Manufacturing Underwriter to help build and grow a dedicated Manufacturing book. You will underwrite industrial property risks, including Fire, Explosion, BI, CAT, and Equipment Breakdown, while expanding wholesale broker relationships nationwide.

The role is fully remote with occasional travel to meet brokers. You will leverage your 5+ years of experience in E&S Commercial Property to drive new business and manage a scalable

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years producing new business within E&S Commercial Property.
• Managed books up to $10M GWP with Manufacturing exposure.
• Strong knowledge of industrial risks and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our client, a growing specialty MGA with an established E&S Commercial Property portfolio and team, is seeking a strong production E&S Property Manufacturing Underwriter to help build and grow a dedicated Manufacturing book, underwrite industrial property risks (Fire and Explosion, Business Interruption, CAT exposures, Equipment Breakdown, etc.), and develop strong wholesale broker relationships for a national reach.

You must have a minimum of 5 years producing new business within E&S Commercial Property, having managed books of business up to $10mill GWP with meaningful exposure to Manufacturing and Industrial risks. Those currently underwriting a broader mix of Property classes who are interested in specializing in Manufacturing are encouraged to apply.

This position is fully remote, with some travel to meet with brokers is expected.
