Job summary

Allied World is seeking an Underwriter for the North American E&O Division in Farmington, NJ. The role focuses on underwriting and servicing a book of errors & omissions business, including Miscellaneous E&O and Lawyers Professional Liability.

The candidate will ensure compliance with guidelines and collaborate with Claims and Marketing teams. Ideal applicants have 1–3 years of underwriting experience, strong writing and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1–3 years underwriting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and service an E&O book including new and renewal business.
• Perform pricing analysis and set terms with approvals.
• Coordinate with Claims and Marketing teams.
• Attend broker meetings and client communications.
