Excel Scientific, Inc. in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a hands-on E-Material Handler to manage shipping, receiving, and inventory for finished goods and raw materials.

You will operate forklifts, read packing lists, use ERP and scanners, prepare packing materials, and ensure accurate labels and documentation while maintaining a safe, clean warehouse. Occasional collaboration with production and logistics to optimize material flow and improve efficiency.

E-Material Handler# E-Material HandlerSt. Paul, MN 55127## OverviewSalary Range$20.00 - $22.00 HourlyJob ShiftDaysCategoryWarehouse## DescriptionJob SummaryThe Material Handler is responsible for shipping, receiving, returns, carrier relations, order management, product management and customer service. Assumes prompt, accurate, and systematic handling of finished goods and raw materials orders while providing outstanding customer service. Effectively performs the operation of powered industrial equipment for the purpose of loading, unloading, moving, locating, relocating, and stacking product.**Essential Job Functions**1. Drives a forklift or other PIT equipment during loading and unloading of trailers and or containers.2. Ability to read shipping orders and create packing lists/BOL and pother required shipping documents.3. Uses computer and computerized equipment such as scanners for accurate product placement.4. Utilize ERP to process shipments and to make movements of finished goods/components for inventory.5. Create and approve product and shipping labels as needed for shipments and production.6. Have all packing materials ready and available prior to pre-packing and staging of an order.7. Manually load containers/LTL shipments with a pallet jack or by hand as needed.8. Completes the bill of ladings for drivers and obtains the proper signatures.9. Move finished goods/raw materials from or to production lines and place in warehouse or production.10. Verify that the quality of the product sent outbound meets customer expectations.11. Ensure proper and safe building of pallet shipments.12. Receiving and breakdown of raw material.13. Complete cycle and inventory accounts as assigned.14. Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives as directed.15. Maintain clean and orderly warehouse to include removal of production waste and operation of floor cleaning equipment, etc.16. Communicate effectively and professionally with supervisors, managers, co-workers, and vendors/guests.17. Maintains good attendance in accordance with company guidelines.18. Work in a safe manner, follow all safety rules, and report any potential safety hazards to management.## QualificationsQualifications**Education:** High school diploma or equivalent training and/or experience.**Experience:** Must have recent material handler/forklift operator experience. **Other skills and abilities required include:*** Strong organizations skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize a busy workload* Ability to follow and comply with all building safety rules and policies* Ability to read shipping orders and packing list information provided by vendor* Must be self-motivated and team oriented* Ability to read and write English* Ability to wrap product and label product quickly* Able to keep work area clean and organized**Physical/Mental Requirements**Physical Demands: Medium Work - Lifting of 50 pounds maximumWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk (up to 8 hours a day).
