Job summary
The United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh seeks an Assistant United States Attorney to advance the District's e-Litigation practices and to lead standardized discovery and case-management efforts. You will oversee resources, provide guidance, and coordinate with federal partners.
Ideal candidates will have a J.D. degree, bar admission, and strong oral/written communication with the ability to manage complex electronic discovery and evidence
Qualifications
- J.D. degree and active bar membership in any U.S. jurisdiction.
- United States citizenship is required.
- Must reside in the district or within 25 miles of the appointed district.
Responsibilities
- Improve use of e-Litigation tools and learn new tools as they become available.
- Ensure training for AUSAs and staff on e-Litigation and e-document management.
- Act as liaison on e-Litigation issues to EOUSA, Federal Public Defender, the Court, and other agencies.
- Provide technical and strategic guidance on collection, review, production, and presentation of evidence.
- As workload permits, assist criminal and civil AUSAs in litigative phases.
