Job summary

Gibson Energy Inc. is seeking an E&I Technician for our Wink operations. You will support daily terminal and pipeline operations, providing expertise in instrumentation and electrical maintenance, repair, and rebuilds.

You will oversee contract workers, coordinate with Operations and Engineering, and contribute to budget planning and cost tracking. Strong problem-solving and teamwork are essential for ensuring safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician with Instrumentation Certificate and 5–7 years in instrumentation tech.
• Proficient with Excel and Word; able to analyze data for troubleshooting and maintenance planning.
• Experience supervising contractors and managing safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Aids in developing, maintaining, and upgrading SCADA and PLC software.
• Communicates maintenance changes to operations personnel and supports troubleshooting of control systems.
• Schedules preventative maintenance using Maximo and tracks work with check sheets.
