CEREX Advanced Fabrics is seeking an experienced E&I Technician to join our maintenance team in Pensacola. You will work on industrial electrical and instrumentation systems, troubleshoot sophisticated equipment, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical and instrumentation systems Troubleshoot motors, transformers, PLCs, control panels, MCCs, VFDs, and power distribution systems Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, loop diagrams, and technical manuals Perform preventive and predictive maintenance Coordinate repairs and downtime schedules with operations teams Manage spare parts inventory and support continuous improvement initiatives Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and company safety standards
High school diploma required Minimum 3 years of industrial/manufacturing E&I experience Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems Experience with PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, and switchgear Journeyman-level E&I experience preferred (certification a plus) Strong computer and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in industrial environments, including elevated temperatures
