CEREX Advanced Fabrics is seeking an experienced E&I Technician to join our maintenance team in Pensacola. You will work on industrial electrical and instrumentation systems, troubleshoot sophisticated equipment, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and accurate documentation, offering professional growth within a safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial/manufacturing E&I experience.
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, and switchgear.
• Journeyman-level E&I experience preferred; certification a plus.
• Strong computer and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Troubleshoot motors, transformers, PLCs, control panels, MCCs, VFDs, and power distribution.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, loop diagrams, and manuals.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Coordinate repairs and downtime schedules with operations teams.
• Manage spare parts inventory and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and safety standards.

Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill level

Key Responsibilities
