Job summary

Mitsubishi Films America (MFA) – Greer, SC is seeking an Electronics and Instrumentation Technician to join our manufacturing team. The technician will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment and instrumentation to ensure quality output.

You will collaborate with maintenance, operators and engineers, performing preventive and predictive maintenance while supporting safe operating practices. Hourly pay range is $33.50–$36.24, with a rotating 4 on/4 off schedule and overtime when

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Electronics Tech or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good troubleshooting, organizational and planning skills.
• Willing to rotate 4 days on – 4 days off, or M-F day shift.
• Willing to overtime and emergency call-in as needed.

Electronics and Instrumentation Technician

We are seeking an Electronics and Instrumentation Technician to join our manufacturing team. Candidates must have good troubleshooting and problem solving skills with the ability to work and communicate efficiently and safely. Technicians will work and interface with maintenance team, operators, engineers, mechanics, etc. and must be willing to take ownership of the assigned asset, equipment or area.

Hourly Rate: $33.50 – $36.24

Reports To: E & I Supervisor

Primary Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, repair and perform both predictive and preventive maintenance on production process equipment, instrumentation and electrical systems to ensure a quality product.
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance on production process equipment, instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Maintain housekeeping to ensure a safe workplace.
• Interact with other technicians to share maintenance knowledge on similar equipment or related maintenance problems.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Basic operation of DC & AC circuits
• Basic operation of 3-phase AC power
• DC/AC motor theory
• DC/AC drive theory
• Function and operation of fuses and circuit breakers
• Electrical relay logic circuits
• Operation of PLC’s
• Temperature, pressure and flow control loops
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and instrument loop sheets
• Read, interpret and troubleshoot PLC programs
• Use basic hand tools (including Volt-Ohm meters)

Requirements

• Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering Technology or an equivalent Technical College Curriculum or equivalent training as obtained via the Military.
• Prior applicable industrial maintenance experience (minimum 2 years)
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Good troubleshooting, organizational and planning skills
• Willing to work: rotating 4 days on – 4 days off shift or M-F day shift
• Willing to work overtime and emergency call-in work as needed

Benefits

• Hourly range for this position is $33.50 – $36.24.
