Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Sheboygan, WI is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair and maintain plant electrical, instrumentation and automation equipment across the facility.

You will install, calibrate, monitor, modify, program, and maintain PLC, HMI and DCS control instrumentation, including low to high voltage systems and associated wiring. The role requires reading schematics and being prepared for on-call support 24/7.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical or instrument and control troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial controls PLCs, motor controls, control valves, electrical distribution, Servo Controlled Systems, and both DC and AC motors ranging in voltages from 24 VDC to 480 VDC.
• Experience reading and following electrical and mechanical schematics/ blueprints.
• Experience installing, calibrating, monitoring, modifying, programming, and maintaining HMI and DCS control instrumentation.

• Plan and schedule maintenance tasks.
• Support EI&A project management for new/existing installs.
