Job summary

Primoris Energy Services seeks an experienced E&I Construction Manager to oversee electrical and instrumentation activities on Nexus projects in the United States. You will lead superintendents, foremen, and crafts, implementing robust E&I plans and schedules while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will review engineering drawings, vendor documentation, and manage subcontractors, material procurements, and site inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field with extensive experience.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive E&I construction management experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, instrumentation standards, and construction best practices.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise E&I construction teams including superintendents and craft personnel.
• Develop and enforce project-specific E&I construction plans and schedules.
• Ensure safety regulations and environmental standards are met on site.
• Coordinate E&I subcontractors to meet contractual obligations and quality.

Job Overview:Job Summary**Oversee and manage all electrical and instrumentation construction activities for Primoris Energy Services - Nexus projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution in accordance with project schedules and budgets.Job Responsibilities*** Lead, mentor, and supervise E&I construction teams, including superintendents, foremen, and craft personnel.* Develop, implement, and enforce project-specific E&I construction plans, procedures, and schedules.* Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards on site.* Manage and coordinate E&I subcontractors, ensuring their performance meets contractual obligations and quality standards.* Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation for E&I systems.* Oversee the procurement, delivery, and proper storage of E&I materials and equipment.* Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines and budgets.* Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure workmanship meets project specifications.* Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to project management.* Collaborate effectively with other discipline managers, project controls, and client representatives.* Manage change orders and claims related to E&I scope.* Participate in project planning, constructability reviews, and risk assessments.* Ensure accurate and timely project documentation and record-keeping.Job Qualifications*** Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.* Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in E&I construction management, preferably within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or power generation industries.* Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale E&I construction projects from inception to completion.* In-depth knowledge of electrical codes (e.g., NEC), instrumentation standards, and construction best practices.* Strong understanding of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.* Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&IDs, electrical schematics, loop diagrams, and architectural/structural drawings.* Experience with construction management software and project scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6).* OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.* Ability to travel to various project sites as required.Company Overview:Primoris Energy Services is a major direct-hire contractor in the U.S. delivering self-performed turnkey industrial construction and EPC services.
