The Division unites several DOJ components to create a coordinated, whole-of-government approach to combat fraud.

As part of its launch, FRD is standing up an Analytics and AI Lab to deliver cutting-edge data solutions for complex legal matters. The Systems Analyst will play a critical role in processing diverse data types, supporting advanced analytical workflows, and contributing to major technical initiatives.

  • Process 3-5 mobile devices weekly and create RSMF files for ingesting text messages into Relativity.

  • Capture and prepare 3-5 web and/or video sources weekly for evidentiary review.

  • Handle proprietary databases, reports, and non-standard file types, providing technical solutions for unique data challenges.

  • Support the migration of 1 PD of data from Relativity Server to RelOne, a primary initiative in the first 6-8 months.

  • Identify patterns and insights in large datasets using visualization tools, advanced analytical methods, and AI technologies.

  • Participate in projects involving field capture, transcription, language processing, and similar specialized data workflows.

  • Contribute to FRD’s Analytics and AI Lab by developing solutions within both on-premises and cloud environments.

  • Collaborate with OIT to design, build, and deploy technical solutions supporting litigation and investigative teams.

  • Apply modern ETL techniques and solutions engineering to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of hands-on experience working directly with the systems and tools described.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze system requirements and translate them into sound technical designs.

  • Strong technical background with expertise in Oracle, SQL, Python scripting, and specialized data formats including mobile device, social media, forensic image, and audio/video data.

  • Broad knowledge of government IT environments, including office automation networks and PC/server-based applications.

  • Supervisory or team lead experience is highly beneficial.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
