Job summary

RealCold, a cold storage and e-commerce fulfillment provider based in New Jersey, seeks an entry-level E-commerce Team Member to promote safety, pick and pack orders, and prepare shipments for dispatch. You will operate our warehouse management system, label fragile and perishable items, and assemble daily shipments with accuracy and care.

Ideal candidates are 18+ with a high school diploma, able to read and write English, and comfortable working in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote a Safety Culture throughout the Facility; work safely as the number one priority.
• Select products according to tickets and place them in boxes for shipments.
• Label packages as fragile or perishable for effective shipment.
• Assemble daily shipments by order location and category.
• Ensure orders are packed into appropriate shipping containers for customer delivery.
• Inspect the product during packing to ensure no damage.
• Perform quality control assessments and stack them safely and securely.
• Build and stack boxes.
• Perform other assigned duties as instructed.

Role Overview:

As an e-Commerce Team Member, you are part of a team that will support the Ecommerce Business. The e-Comm Team Member will accurately and safely pull, pack, and ship orders received on our e-commerce and warehouse management system platforms. The incumbent must interface well with other team members to create a positive work environment and healthy team culture.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for promoting a Safety Culture throughout the Facility, working safe is always the #1 priority; clean as you go to ensure everyone is working in a safe environment.
• Select products according to tickets and accurately place them in boxes for shipments.

• Assemble daily shipments by order location & category.

Requirements of the Position:

• M ust be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must read, write, and understand English.
• Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience preferred.

Work Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be flexible and be able to work overtime.
• Must be willing to work weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Dress code is relaxed with a few rules to follow for safety; comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required.

Physical Work Environment:

Works in a cold storage facility with exposure to low to below zero temperatures. This job may involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as dust, noise, etc. Accidents are improbable other than minor injuries. Environment may be fast paced at times. You will be working around moving machines – order pickers and forklifts.
