E-Commerce Stylist
Department: Creative
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: HQ
Compensation: $53,000 - $55,000 / year
Description
The E-Commerce Stylist owns the look of every product we shoot for our website. Working in our Dallas photo studio and reporting to the Photography & Studio Production Manager, you will style on-model shoots, understand our customer base, build outfit pairings that sell, and keep the studio's inventory organized and accounted for. This is a hands‑on role for someone who loves fashion, moves quickly, and takes real care with product and with the team on set.
Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce Styling
- Own styling for all e-commerce shoots, on-model, in line with Saint Bernard brand standards
- Prepare looks ahead of each shoot: build outfit pairings, pull accessories, and prep garments (steaming, pinning, tagging)
- Align with the buying team on their desired styling direction, as needed.
- Style models on set, making real‑time adjustments for fit, drape, and detail so product looks its best on camera
- Maintain consistency in styling across categories, seasons, and shoot days
- Partner with photographers and the Photography Production Manager on goals for the day and shoot‑day priorities
Studio Inventory
- Control and track all inventory held in the photo studio, from arrival through return
- Coordinate additional inventory to be held in the studio for pairings and styling options
- Maintain a reshoot list, and pull the product needed for reshoots
- Perform monthly inventory counts of all merchandise in the studio to ensure accurately tracked inventory
- Keep studio inventory accurate, organized, and ready for the next shoot
Studio Standards
- Take direction from the Photography Production Manager on studio standards and process improvements
- Follow and complete standard processes as they are developed
- Flag anything blocking shoot readiness or speed to site
- Treat all product with care: handle garments with clean hands, keep food, drinks, and makeup away from merchandise
- Return items to inventory in sellable condition, with tags, packaging, and hangers intact
- Keep the styling area and set clean, organized, and reset at the end of each shoot day
- Be prepared and on time: looks are prepped, steamed, and approved before the model arrives
- Respect models and the crew: communicate clearly and professionally, be clear before adjusting a model's clothing, and protect their comfort and privacy on set
- Follow the approved styling direction; bring changes to the Photography Production Manager and buying team rather than improvising off‑brief
- Keep the set focused and efficient so shoots stay on schedule
