Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Photographer for our online marketplace photos. Starting pay is $15.15 hourly. You will photograph products, work with lighting basics, and style clothing on mannequins to meet daily listing goals.

The role supports the E-Commerce team by delivering high-quality images, following product guidelines, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Prior product photography is preferred; English proficiency and reliability are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in product photography preferred; strong attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of lighting.
• Ability to speak and read English; background check and drug screen where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Takes photographs of items for listing on GCNA and affiliated sites, including front and back shots and details.
• Meets daily goals and listing targets.
• Communicates with Manager on issues requiring escalation.
• Advises Manager of significant problems and coordinates with team.
• Maintains professional relationships with internal customers and promotes teamwork.

Position Description :

Takes photographs of products to be sold on www.shopgoodwill.com and other online marketplaces for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities. Understands basic lighting and photo editing techniques to capture quality images. Ability to meet daily goals and follow product photography guidelines. Style and shoot clothing on both female and male mannequins.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Supports 2 - 3 E-Commerce Listers through taking photographs of items to be listed, including front and back shots, close-up detail such as signatures, all maker and identification marks, attractive areas and flawed areas.
• Meets daily goals.
• Communicates with Manager or Assistant Manager on customer issues that require solutions beyond the standard protocol.
• Immediately advises Manager of significant and unexpected problems. Communicates needs with other team members.
• Builds and maintains effective quality working relationships with internal customers. Promotes and demonstrates teamwork and cooperation.
• Handles fragile items with care to avoid damage or breakage.
• Maintains work area in a safe, clean, and orderly fashion. Cleans work area at the end of each day, following safety rules and regulations at all times.
• Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.

• Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills) :

• High School Diploma or GED
• Past experience in product photography preferred, Strong attention to detail, having an eye on everything before, during, and after the shot
• Basic understanding of lighting
• Ability to speak and read English proficientlyAbility to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position
