TikTok is seeking a Category Manager Intern for TikTok Shop - Operations in Los Angeles, Summer 2027. You will acquire and incubate merchants to drive category growth and explore innovative collaboration models to optimize resource use across partnerships.
Work with cross-functional teams to solve growth challenges, delivering strategic content and solutions for merchants, creators, and agencies while staying aligned with product developments and promotions.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree
- Commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2027
- Quick learner, proactive and resilient. Thrive in ambiguity and adapt quickly.
- Structured thinking with strong analytical skills and data sense
- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration, able to move initiatives forward.
- Passion for business and aiming for higher goals.
Responsibilities
- Acquire and incubate merchants to support category growth.
- Discover collaborative models aligning with merchants' development plans and invest platform resources effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve growth challenges.
- Provide strategic content, and offer merchant/creator/agency partner, merchandising, and logistical solutions.
- Update clients on TikTok Shop product developments and new promotional opportunities.
