The role supports other departments, maintains inventory integrity, and delivers friendly customer service in a fast-paced retail setting. Weekends and evenings may be required.

The Click & Collect Clerk is instrumental in providing a positive shopping experience for all customers. The Click & Collect Clerk will support other customer service deliverables across other departments.**Essential Functions of the Position:*** Shop and stage orders for the customers who have placed an order online.* Deliver orders to the customer when they arrive at the store for their pickup.* Review orders from the app when it alerts that an order has been placed.* Locate and carefully select the correct items from the order list.* Communicate with customers when items are unavailable.* Check expiration date, quality, and condition of all items, when selecting.* Go through checkout when shopping is completed, to complete transactions.* Assist with returning all products to shelves that customers have moved or returned before purchase, often called “go-backs.”* Assist in maintaining inventory control to ensure freshness, product quality, and turnover for maximum sales and to minimize out-of-stock or overstock products.* Provide friendly and helpful customer service at all times.**Knowledge:*** Familiarity with product location in the store.* Identification of appropriate product substitution, based on customer input.* Understanding of customer service best practices and strategies to enhance customer engagement.**Skills:*** Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members alike.* Strong time management skills, meeting strict timelines for fulfillment and task prioritization during peak hours.* Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in product selection/order fulfillment.* Basic technology skills to utilize handheld devices and navigate applications.**Abilities:*** Ability to lift and carry groceries, using proper ergonomics and exercising product care.* Ability to adapt to changing situations, manage multiple demands, and work effectively with diverse personalities.* Ability to work in a high-volume environment, while remaining calm under pressure and maintaining a professional disposition.**Physical Requirements:*** Stand and walk for extended periods, typically 8-hour shifts.* Lift and carry items up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.* Perform repetitive motions such as reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, and handling products.* Move quickly and efficiently to assist customers and manage workload.* Maintain physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment.**Work Conditions:*** Work Hours: Vary, with availability required on weekends, evenings, and holidays; typically, 8-hour shifts for full-time employees.* Environment: Indoor and outdoor, with exposure to seasonal weather conditions.* Primary Workstations: Throughout store, at check stands, and parking lot.* Dress Code: Professional and presentable attire as determined by store management, including a name tag, company-issued shirts, hats, jackets, or personal shirts that are black, burgundy, or blue, in good repair, and not faded.* Exposure: May be exposed to moving mechanical parts and cleaning chemicals.* Noise Level: Usually low to moderate, with occasional loud periods from customers, store announcements, and equipment.* Interaction: Constant interaction with customers and team members in a fast-paced retail environment.**Minimum Qualifications:*** Education: High school diploma or equivalent.* Experience: No prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided.* Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.* Must be 18 years of age or older.**Company Employment Policies:*** PAQ, Inc is an “At-Will” employer.* PAQ, Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE). **Pay Range:**$16.90 - $21.50 ***Equal Employment Opportunity****PAQ, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
