Salary

Annual base salary target range: $25‑$28 per hour (location dependent). Bonus or commission may apply based on the role.

Position Summary

Performs tests and/or measurement tasks for the Dynamics Department, focusing on the motion of systems under external forces.

Core Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Read specifications from test standards, customer SOWs, and test plans to prepare test equipment.
  • Monitor tests per specifications, interact with customers if needed, troubleshoot, and document data.
  • Verify, review, and document all data after test completion; finalize and send to the Program Manager.
  • Physically remove test items, clean equipment, maintain calibrated instruments, and organize supplies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Core Requirements
  • Under general supervision completes intermediate technical and mechanical procedures; interacts regularly with clients, troubleshoots, and reworks standard tests.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and dynamics principles; basic safety practices and knowledge of AC/DC circuits.
  • Proficiency with standard dynamics equipment and accurate data capture; basic MS Office skills.
Minimum Education And Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED; AA or AS degree preferred.
  • 2‑6 years of relevant experience.
Working Conditions

Test lab with exposure to sudden, loud noises.

Physical Requirements

Employee must occasionally stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
