Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a Dynamics 365 Developer to join the Retail Software Engineering team. You will design, develop, implement, and maintain D365-based business apps, collaborating with analysts, architects, and other developers to deliver high-quality software that improves operations and growth.

The role emphasizes design leadership, mentoring junior staff, code reviews, and continuous process improvement in an AGILE + DevOps context. Plano, on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Curious mindset to experiment and resolve functional and technical issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills for technology-related issues and complex business scenarios.
• Must be a hardworking individual who is detail-oriented, analytical, and inquisitive.
• Knowledge of C#, .NET, TypeScript, JavaScript or other programming languages.
• Experienced in working within an Agile + DevOps process.
• Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively on teams.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects.
• Excellent people and project management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 5+ years' experience in D365 or related development environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure, develop and maintain components for dynamics delivery.
• Lead design and architecture of complex Dynamics 365 solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical expertise.
• Lead code reviews to ensure coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize processes and propose solutions.
• Champion continuous improvement in development processes.
• Mentor and coach junior Dynamics 365 developers for growth.
• Facilitate regular knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance automation skills.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
