Job summary

Joy Baking Group is seeking an ERP Application Developer to design and extend D365 F&SCM solutions and Power Platform apps for manufacturing and warehousing. You will collaborate with IT, business teams, and partners to build scalable, maintainable ERP solutions and automate critical processes.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, data modeling, REST/OData integration, and continuous improvement. Occasional after-hours support may be required during releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 1–3 years of application development experience.
• Foundational programming skills in C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar.
• Basic SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Familiarity with APIs, JSON, REST, web services, or integration concepts.
• Microsoft certifications or demonstrated self-directed learning in the Microsoft stack.
• Exposure to Dynamics 365 F&SCM and/or X++ is a plus.
• Exposure to Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, or Azure is a plus.
• Experience with REST APIs, OData, OAuth, or integration concepts.
• Azure DevOps, Git, LCS or similar tool experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain D365 F&SCM X++ extensions, including data entities, custom fields, and logic.
• Build REST APIs, OData services, and application connectors.
• Develop Power Apps for manufacturing, warehouse, and business processes.
• Develop Power Automate workflows for approvals and automation.
• Design and maintain Dataverse tables, relationships, and data structures.
• Create and maintain D365 data entities, APIs, and OData endpoints for reporting.
• Collaborate with Data Analytics Engineer to expose clean D365 data feeds.
• Develop reusable components and automation solutions per architectural standards.
• Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, and defect resolution.
• Create unit tests and support SIT/UAT and release validation.
• Validate customizations and integrations against D365 platform updates.
• Participate in code reviews, source control, Azure DevOps, LCS, and release processes.
• Support ERP deployment, code reviews, and release validation.
