Qualifications

• Committed follower of Jesus with a clear personal testimony.
• Bachelor’s degree in ministry, theology, or related field preferred.
• Alignment with Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
• Experience in youth ministry or volunteering with teens.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Able to connect with youth and relate to today’s culture; team player.
• Must pass a background check and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a comprehensive youth ministry program for grades 6–12.
• Plan youth group meetings, Sunday School, and discipleship activities.
• Plan events like retreats, mission trips, and service projects.
• Preach and teach age-appropriate messages rooted in Scripture.
• Provide pastoral care, mentoring, and support to families.
• Recruit, train, and supervise adult volunteers for youth ministry.
• Collaborate with pastors to align youth ministry with church vision.
• Build relationships with local schools and community groups.
