Job summary

Ministrylist is seeking a part-time Coordinator of Children/Youth Ministries for Stallings Church. The role focuses on nurturing spiritual growth in children and youth, guiding them toward a deeper relationship with God, and fostering a welcoming ministry environment.

The CCYM will work under pastoral guidance and the Staff-Parish Relations Committee, creating Christ-centered programs, recruiting volunteers, and delivering biblically sound curricula for Nursery–12th grade on Sundays.

Qualifications

• Background in ministry, education, or child development with growth mindset.
• Willingness to learn multimedia and computer tasks.
• Experience with children/youth and ability to grow their faith.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Effective communication with children, parents, volunteers, and staff.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Create Christ-centered relationships with children, youth and families.
• Attend staff and ministry meetings for program input.
• Provide biblically sound curriculum for Nursery–12th grade on Sundays.
• Lead Children’s Church during Sunday worship after the children’s message.
• Recruit, train, schedule, coordinate, and support volunteers for all activities.
• Oversee inventories, schedules, and annual budgets for ministries.
• Provide monthly reports and coordinate with leadership on needs.
• Ensure 100% adherence to Safe Sanctuaries.
