Job summary

Carisam in Doral, FL is seeking a Receiving Material Handler to join our Warehouse Receiving team. You will off-load containers, move merchandise to proper locations, and support cycle counting and inventory control.

A flexible schedule is required, with Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm and potential overtime. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of warehouse experience, forklift certification, and the ability to read purchase orders and use RF Smart handheld

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience; forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to read purchase orders and verify quantities.
• Experience using RF scanning devices.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime/weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Off-load containers and trailers and store merchandise.
• Label and place merchandise on pallets for put-away.
• Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts.
• Operate forklift and assist drivers with loading/unloading.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas.
• Document purchase orders to maintain accurate records.
