Job summary

Flex--n--gate in Edgerton, KS is seeking warehouse operators to support multiple areas throughout the day. You will load and unload trucks, stage pallets, move product, and operate equipment such as walkies, reach trucks, and wrapping machines.

Other duties include picking, packing, quality checks, scanning, and keeping work areas organized. Candidates must read and understand English, lift 25–150 lb, stand/walk long hours, and be able to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Be able to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• Follow written and verbal directions.
• Lift 25 to 150 pounds continuously throughout the day.
• Walk, stand, bend, push, pull, stoop, kneel and reach overhead/below the waist.
• Dexterity to repeatedly handle parts and tools.
• Use basic technologies including computers, scanners and printers.
• Work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks.
• Stage pallets and document movements with scans.
• Wrap product and verify packing documents.
• Pick and pack according to labels and slips.
• Read tickets, locations and item labels.
• Compute simple mathematics.
• Build organized pallets.
• Operate reach truck, forklift, electric pallet rider, walkie, wrapping machines.
• Maintain neat, clean, and organized work areas.
• Other duties/tasks as necessary.
