Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Market Hub Fulfillment Center in Birmingham. You will fill store orders using pick lists, prepare shipments, and ensure accuracy of merchandise pulled from bins and shelves.

Responsibilities include shipping/receiving, back stock maintenance, and staging parts for delivery. You must be reliable, able to work varied shifts, and willing to obtain forklift certification if needed.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
High School diploma or GED required.
Eligible to work in the United States.
Able to work various shifts, including overtime, weekends and holidays.
Able to read and interpret safety rules, instructions and procedures.
Able to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

Fill store orders using a pick list and prepare orders for shipment in a Market Hub Fulfillment Center.
Obtain merchandise from bins or shelves and ensure orders are complete and correct.
Assist with shipping and receiving inventory and back stock.
Mark pallets with store information and stage parts for delivery.
Use lift equipment when trained and certified; may lift up to 100 pounds.
Maintain consistent, reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
