Job summary

Index Industries is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage incoming products, fulfill orders, and pack and ship items while maintaining a safe, thriving warehouse operation. You will learn inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics within a fast-paced environment.

There is an emphasis on accuracy, reliability, and proactive contribution as you shadow teammates, handle shipments, and progressively take on more complex orders.

Qualifications

• Possesses a valid driver’s license and DMV printout required
• Willingness to learn and work with enthusiasm required
• Strong written/verbal communication skills required
• Strong organizational and mathematical skills required
• 1+ year(s) of working experience within a warehouse or similar environment preferred
• Strong familiarity with modern warehouse practices and/or methods of operation preferred
• Experience with counting scales within a warehouse environment a plus

Responsibilities

• Shadow and learn the order selection process and proper packaging within the first 30 days
• Proficiently handles packing for all products and becomes comfortable with UPS and small shipments
• Independently assembles and packs customer orders and replenishes parts after fulfillment
• Takes on more complex orders requiring specific packaging or labeling over time
• Assists with shipping and receiving tasks including unloading trucks and processing item receiving
