Job summary

The Parts Authority in Pompano Beach, FL is looking for a Warehouse Associate to support our distribution operations. You will receive, label, store incoming stock, and pick parts to fulfill customer orders while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
• Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
• Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/ or stairs) or balance
• May be subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
• May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

• Must have an open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and over time.
• 1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred.
• Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse

Responsibilities

• The warehouse associate is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, accurately filling customer orders, and picking of parts to fulfill orders.
