Job summary

Copper State Bolt & Nut Co. in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to perform material handling, order picking, packing and stocking. This full-time on-site role offers $22.00–$24.00 per hour and requires good teamwork.

You will use RF scanners, manage inventory, and support inbound/outbound shipments, with emphasis on accuracy and safety; fastener experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced distribution setting while following safety procedures.
• Knowledge of inventory control and order fulfillment processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing, loading/unloading trucks, managing inventory and returns, safely and securely preparing product to ship
• Ensure that information is entered into the computer system, using RF Scanners if applicable, and confirm product is delivered to applicable packaging, order pulling, or stocking departments as necessary.
• Periodic review of customer fastener and related product inventory in various stocking locations within their facility
• Generate orders as necessary for product and prepare for subsequent delivery and stocking activity.
• Help receive inbound shipments daily; confirming correct product/quantities
• Pulling/Staging orders for customer as product comes in for will call or delivery in a timely manner
• Assisting with all out bound shipments daily: UPS, FEDEX, Freight, and deliveries
• Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and organized, and product stocked correctly
