Job summary

Workforce in Ashland, VA seeks a dependable General Laborer to support a busy warehouse and production environment. Daily tasks include loading/unloading, moving materials, packing, sorting, and assisting with warehouse operations.

Most positions are physically demanding and require being on your feet. Training may be available; previous warehouse or production experience helps, but is not always required.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have prior general labor or warehouse experience.
• Able to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically able to stand, lift, and move materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor and warehouse duties as assigned.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, pallets, and materials.
• Move, stage, and organize products and materials.
• Assist with production, assembly, packaging, and sorting.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare products for shipment.
• Inspect products for damage, defects, or quality issues.
• Use basic hand tools and equipment when required.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Follow work instructions and complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
• Work with supervisors and coworkers to keep daily operations moving.
• Follow all company safety rules and procedures.
• Perform other general labor and material handling duties as needed.
