Job summary

PrideStaff (Portland) supports a Portland-born communications company delivering precise, on-time print. You will run high-speed printers, monitor color, and keep production loops tight—from setup to finish—within LEAN guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in commercial print, 6+ months on high-speed digital gear, and hands-on Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign/Illustrator). Mon–Fri, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with solid benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years recent experience in commercial/industrial print production & services.
• 6+ months operating high-speed digital equipment (Canon/OCE, Konica Minolta, Ricoh, Kyocera).
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
• Comfort with basic computer tasks.
• Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator) skills.
• Experience with variable data printing or mailing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple high-speed printers for concurrent projects.
• Meet quantity goals and deadlines with exacting quality.
• Offload prints and load materials to cutters with correct order.
• Dial in equipment for color stability and throughput.
• Report mechanical issues promptly to the appropriate contacts.
• Perform setup, operation, and routine maintenance across assigned equipment.
• Format/edit templates per client specs using Adobe Creative Suite.
