Job summary

KUTV in Salt Lake City is seeking a part-time chef/kitchen host to produce live and taped interviews, segments, and packages across studio and field settings. This role involves cooking demonstrations, product discussions, and driving digital content and social media engagement.

The candidate should have a cooking background, at least 1 year of live TV or digital hosting experience, and be capable of shooting, writing, and editing stories for on-air and online platforms.

Qualifications

• A demonstrated background in cooking/baking or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of live on-camera producing and hosting kitchen/cooking segments.
• Minimum 1 year of experience shooting video, writing and editing long and short form stories and social videos.

Responsibilities

• Assists with daily preparation and content generation.
• Ability to conduct live and taped interviews in studio and in the field.
• Participates in pre and post-show meetings.
• Contributes content to the website and all digital platforms.
• Interacts with viewers on social media.
• Produce sales cooking segments (live and pre-taped) in rundown.
• All other duties as directed by management.
