Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Portland, Oregon. This role offers 40 hours per week, days shifts, with travel pay and benefits. Licensed PT with BLS is required, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate and maintain PT equipment safely and effectively.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate care and optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management techniques.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment by following infection control and safety standards.
