Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an immediate travel assignment in Jackson, Wyoming. This 13-week engagement requires 40 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts.

OT with active NBCOT-OTR certification and state license is preferred; 1 year of experience is ideal, 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, educating families, and documenting progress in accordance with state and

Qualifications

• 1 year of OT experience required; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• Must have BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification with state-specific OT license.
• OTs should be able to stand and walk for long periods and understand anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, assess and observe tasks.
• Evaluate patient condition and needs.
• Develop a treatment plan with specific goals and activities.
• Assist patients with various disabilities in performing tasks.
• Assess home/work environment and identify improvements.
• Educate family and employer on care and accommodations.
• Recommend equipment and instruct on use.
• Document activities and progress for evaluations, billing, and reporting.
