Job summary

Home Work Staffing is seeking a full-time, live-out nanny for a Bethlehem family caring for a 2-year-old and a 1-year-old. The role is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM with 50 guaranteed hours and a pay range of $25–$30 per hour.

The parents are hands‑on and value calm, consistent routines and engaging activities. During summer the family travels to a beach house in Long Beach Island, NJ, and the nanny will live in with them for two to three months; travel and room/board are provided.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with toddlers in daycare, preschool, or nanny setting.
• Confident handling of naps, diapering, feeding, and toddler behavior.
• Energetic, upbeat attitude and positive approach.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Comfortable swimming and supervising children around water.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, engaging care for a 2-year-old and a 1-year-old.
• Manage nap routines and put children down for naps.
• Change diapers and support daily toddler routines.
• Help with breakfast and prepare light meals and snacks.
• Plan active, age-appropriate play, including outdoor time and park outings.
• Redirect toddlers through tantrums and transitions with patience.
• Switch between caring for one child and both as needed.
• Tidy play areas and living spaces after meals and activities.
• Communicate openly with parents about each child’s day.
• Live in with the family at their Long Beach Island beach house during summer (2–3 months).
