Job summary

Legends Global at McFetridge Sports Center in Chicago seeks a part-time Tennis Instructor to lead beginner through advanced lessons for youth and adults. You will promote skill development, safety and engagement in a supportive setting while representing the facility professionally.

Must have 2–3 years of instruction, CPR certification, and be able to work mornings, evenings, and weekends. PTR/USPTA Level 1 preferred. Hourly rate ranges from $20.00 to $25.50.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years previous tennis instruction experience.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Ability to work evenings, mornings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead tennis lessons, clinics, camps, and programs for youth and adults of various levels.
• Provide quality instruction on tennis fundamentals and strategies.
• Demonstrate proper techniques and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor participants and ensure proper use of equipment and facilities.
• Communicate professionally with participants, parents, and staff.
• Arrive prepared for all scheduled classes and programs.
• Set up and break down equipment and materials.
• Follow facility policies and safety guidelines.
• Report safety concerns promptly.
• Complete required training and certifications.
