Job summary

Eugene School District 4J is seeking a temporary full-time Physical Education Teacher to serve Aug 31, 2026 through Dec 18, 2026. The role covers a leave of absence and aligns with the district’s health, wellness, and fitness goals for students.

Candidates must hold a TSPC license with a Physical Education endorsement and have strong collaboration and communication skills to engage all learners in movement, fitness, and growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold an undergraduate degree and a valid Oregon Teaching License with a Physical Education Endorsement.
• Experience: at least one year of physical education teaching; ability to work with diverse learners.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in using database/software, Google Docs, and Synergy gradebook.
