Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist for the Memorial Hermann Surgery Center in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will assist surgeons, maintain sterile environments, and ensure equipment readiness. Responsibilities include instrument counting and adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in an operating room setting preferred.
• Familiarity with Orthopedics, ENT, GI, Ophthalmology, and General Surgery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies.
• Ensure the sterile field is maintained and all surgical equipment is properly prepared.
• Anticipate needs of the surgical team to promote efficient and safe operations.
• Support room turnover, equipment sterilization, and instrument readiness.
• Maintain accurate count of instruments, sponges, and sharps.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with circulating nurses and anesthesia staff for seamless patient care.
