Job summary

Education Unlimited offers energetic science instructors for our engineering summer program at Stanford University (Grades 4-6). Sessions run July 19–24, 2026 and July 26–31, 2026. Housing, meals, salary and travel stipend are provided for the right candidate.

We offer two levels of Engineering Courses: Intro to Engineering for grades 4-6 and Engineering 9-12. Instructors will teach, supervise, and mentor students across dynamic hands-on activities.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience teaching experience or significant subject matter knowledge.
• Experience working with middle, high school or college age students in an academic setting.
• Preference given to those with an advanced degrees.
• A passion for science education.
• A calm and professional demeanor.
• Self-motivation and follow-through.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Education Unlimited curriculum.
• Supervising campers in and out of the classroom.
• Organizing and leading classroom labs.
• Executing a finale showcasing student work.
• Tracking student work and delivering deliverables to camp director and EU home office.
• Overnight program duties including room and board and evening supervision (if applicable).
• Assist with field trips and excursions as needed.
