Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of Valid and Current Substitute Teaching License Required.
• Classroom experience is Preferred.
• Appropriate criminal records check by state and federal agencies.

Responsibilities

• Follow provided lesson plans to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students.
• Develop lesson plans and assignments for long-term substitutes in keeping with past plans.
• Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Interact professionally with students, staff, and parents/guardians.
• Attend trainings and meetings provided by the school and Summit Academy Management.
