Vertex Education invites qualified educators to join our Legacy Traditional Schools network as a Permanent Substitute Teacher in Las Vegas. You will serve in a variety of instructional assignments across multiple subjects, delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive, safe learning environment.

You hold a bachelor's degree in education, a state substitute teaching certificate, and you will complete a criminal history background check. Travel between campuses is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education is required.
• Current substitute teaching certificate from the state where the position is located.
• Pass a criminal history background check.

Responsibilities

• Create a classroom and safe environment that fosters learning and student engagement.
• Utilize direct instruction techniques to guide students through activities that promote social, physical and intellectual growth.
• Implement proven curricula and teaching strategies to meet curriculum goals and support diverse learners.
• Coordinate with support staff and communicate progress with parents/guardians as needed.
