Job summary

East Greenwich Township School District is seeking a Substitute/Substitute Teacher to cover classes in the absence of the regular teacher. The role reports to the Building Principal and requires appropriate NJ teaching certification or substantial substitute credentials, plus a minimum of 30 college credits.

The substitute will deliver instruction and manage the learning environment at the District Office location.

Qualifications

• Appropriate NJ State Teacher certification or 30 college credits with substitute credentials
• A minimum of 30 college credits

Responsibilities

• Helps students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible men and women in the absence of the regular teacher
• If lesson plans are left, the substitute follows that plan and should a plan not be left, develop one that will support student learning with appropriate content
