Job summary

Manchester School District is seeking qualified candidates for substitute paraeducator roles across all district buildings. Substitutes should be flexible and willing to provide coverage where needed, carrying out lesson plans and supporting classroom activities.

Rate of pay is $10/hour for substitute paraeducator positions. Positions are hired at will with no benefits; candidates must pass a criminal background check, provide references, and upload transcripts.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete a criminal background check.
• Must provide 3 References
• Must upload copies of transcripts college or high school diploma
• Experience working with children strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a program of study prescribed in the lesson plans left by the classroom teacher.
• Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
• Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and objectives as indicated in the lesson plans for the lessons, units, or projects assigned.
• Perform daily duties such as lunchroom monitoring and hallway supervision as directed by the principal.
