Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Structural BIM Designer (Buildings) to join our Salt Lake City area team. You will model and manage discipline BIM elements, follow the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP), and deliver accurate drawings within project scope and budget.

Collaborate with architects and engineers, maintain standards, coordinate with other disciplines during design reviews and 3D coordination, and help advance HDR's digital delivery goals across client projects.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or 3 years related industry experience.
• 3D design software and document management proficiency.
• Microsoft Office and communication tools proficiency.
• Experience with 3D coordination tools.
• Excellent communication, detail orientation, and organization.
• Strong understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.

Responsibilities

• Model and maintain discipline BIM elements per DDP and project scope.
• Create and maintain discipline model and content for that discipline.
• Coordinate design with other discipline models during design reviews and 3D coordination.
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams using BIM software.
• Maintain the discipline model with project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, and sheets.
• Monitor, improve, and maintain company standards and model health.
