The PIG Hotel | B Corp near Bath is seeking a Sous Chef to support the Head Chef across a busy kitchen. You will manage one of four sections, help develop menus, and oversee health and safety, ordering and rotas. The role emphasises local produce, sustainability and a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• A Sous role at THE PIG is like no other, with emphasis on local suppliers within a 25-mile radius and their own kitchen garden produce.
• Knowledge of all areas of the kitchen is essential and passion for modern British food and sustainability is highly valued.
• Previous experience in a similar role is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in running the kitchen, managing one of the four sections, and providing new ideas for the menu.
• Oversee health and safety, ordering and rotas to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Lead and inspire apprentices as part of the award-winning apprenticeship programme.
