OSU-Oklahoma City is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach undergraduate Sociology and Anthropology courses. You will develop syllabi, deliver engaging lectures, assess student learning, and maintain course records using the LMS.

The role supports a student-centered community with courses offered day or evening, and a 6-month or shorter appointment. Remote work is not indicated; applicants should be able to work in the campus setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in the discipline and relevant licensure or certification.
• Experience teaching undergraduates in sociology or anthropology preferred.
• Ability to develop syllabi, grading procedures, and course objectives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain student and course records and LMS updates.
• Maintain and file current course outlines, objectives and grading.
• Exhibit innovative and adaptive instructional methods.
• Complete all mandatory training.
• Fulfill requirements in Adjunct Handbook.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
